Stupid question about playtex nursers/bottles?
Ok I have had a baby recently and have a 2 year old so i should no the answer to this, but maybe its the flu thats causing me not to get this. My son is no longer content with 4oz of formula. His 4oz bottles were playtex nurser with 4 oz drop-ins. Simple enough
Now I bought the 8oz nursers, but on one side of the bottle it only goes up to 6oz?? The drop-ins are 8 oz drop-ins..Now if you get the 10oz liners there is another side of the bottle that says 8 oz but only if you use the 10oz liners?? How am I supposed to measure out 8oz of fluid in a drop in when the bottle says only 6oz??? I am so confused
I am glad I am not the only one bugged out by this. I just do not remember having this much trouble with Playtex bottles before. I mean whats so hard about putting the number 8 on the very top?? Its just so misleading and weird to me
If you use the Expandable Dropins, look on the side of the bottle that says Expandable. The side that only says 6 will be 8 if you fill it all the way with regular dropins. I personally like the Expandable ones, without them you can't put water and all the formula in with out the powder spilling over the top. What I do is just make 28 oz in a rubbemaid thing, then add the 14 scoops of formula and it will actually come out to about 30 oz of formula. Then I just pour and heat.
